Material Handler / Operator I, Returns
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Removes returned product from the receipt container; sorting and counting returned product by customer; recording pertinent information of the retuned product in an Excel spreadsheet;
checking handset airtime; examining the physical appearance and condition of returned handsets and accessories; qualifying retuned product via established rule sets in RMCS and participating in periodic inventories and cycle counts.
Removes returned product from box, carton, or container in preparation for processing. Burst kits into components parts.
Sorts and counts returned product by specific customer. Records pertinent information on returned product into an Excel spreadsheet as required.
Checks airtime on returned handsets. Examines physical appearance and condition of returned handsets and accessories. Qualifies returned product according to established rule sets by answering questions in RMCS.
Participates in periodic inventories and cycle counts. Identify and report problems in timely manner. Maintains a professional, helpful attitude in dealings with co-workers, supervisors, and their departmental personnel always.
Cross trains in other areas of the Distribution Center to maximize productivity. Responsible for additional tasks as assigned to meet or exceed the expectations of customers based on our fluid business needs.
High school diploma and / or G.E.D. Experience 1-3 years’ experience in high volume, fast paced distribution center, previous receiving experience
Equipment Workstation PC, printers, stretch wrapper, RF Scanner, RF guns, material handling equipment and other MS Office Suite and WMS experience.
